Terms and conditions

Warnstar Signage Ltd (here after referred to as the “company”) is the land sales arm of Maritime Progress Ltd, an ISO 9001 company.


All orders are subject to acceptance by the company’s head office. All prices are exclusive of carriage, packing and VAT. VAT will be charged (where applicable) at the current rate at invoicing.

Carriage charge
We offer both standard post (£3.95) and a courier service (£7.50) to deliver an order. If an order is below £30 both standard post or courier will be available, if an order is over £30 then only a courier service will be available. Free delivery is available on orders over £50.


Stock orders received by 2pm will be despatched the same day (subject to availability). Packing and carriage will be charged where appropriate. The company’s delivery responsibilities shall be relieved by any force majeur events.


Credit accounts are available against approved references. Business payment may be made by credit card or company cheque, while private purchases must be paid in advance by cheque or credit card. All debt recovery costs incurred by the company shall be paid by the purchaser.

Terms of payment

Credit account payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice. For new customers, payment is required with order. Credit is subject to status.

Title and Risk

Risk in the goods shall pass to the purchaser on delivery. Title to the goods will not pass to the purchaser until the company receives payment.


All goods returned to the company require a returned authorisation number which must be obtained in advance. All products must be returned in a pristine, resalable condition, complete with any accessories, manuals or other documentation originally supplied. All material returned to the company shall be carriage paid. A 15% re-stocking charge will apply. The company will not accept the return of any bespoke items.


The company makes every effort to ensure that information provided is correct and that the products conform to current legislation & standards. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the product is used in the appropriate situation. We reserve the right to alter or amend prices, designs and specification.

Material Guarantees

The company guarantees to replace or repair at its discretion defective products when disclosed in writing within a period of 6 months. Such replacement will be supplied ex-works. All labour and associated expenses connected with the faulty/replacement materials will be borne by the purchaser. The company accepts no responsibility for the failure of materials due to fair wear and tear or careless handling or for damage which may occur through inadequate storage conditions. Where materials supplied are not of the company’s manufacture, the purchaser shall be entitled to the benefit of any guarantee afforded to the company in respect thereof. The company shall not be liable for any consequential or other losses to the purchaser or third party as a result of any defective product or its use.


Special prices quoted are valid for 30 days or as otherwise stated in writing. Work will only be undertaken after receipt of an official purchase order and in the event of cancellation of such an order we reserve the right to charge for costs incurred. The company reserves the right to increase prices to reflect increase in costs beyond the control of the company e.g. currency, taxes etc.
